Typical Applications:
TechnoElast compounds may be applied in the following areas:

  • Automotive:
Interior: switches, sealing strips, seat belt systems ...
Exterior: sealing lip for water deflector, bumper components ...
Engine compartment: air ducts, filter housing sealing lips, radiator components ...
  • Electronics: push button elements, printer housing, housing sealings ...

Pre-drying:
In general pre-drying is not required. However, if the material has been stored for a longer period or in case of exposure to extreme temperature variations, the material may be dried in an air-dryer for a brief period (<2 hours) at approx. 60 to 80 °C. The drying period must be extended when using open packaging units or ground material.
