TechnoPet Line

Dimensional stability, good electrical insulating properties

TechnoPet: A good Choice!
The TechnoPet compound line contains glass fibre reinforced as well as UV stabilised compounds for outdoor use.

For customers seeking the perfect synthesis of stiffness, heat resistance, high dimensional stability and good surface qualitiy in glass fibre reinforced plastics, TechnoPet, a thermoplastic polyester, is the most cost effective solution. This material unified the advantages of reinforced polyethylene-terephthalate and easy processing properties for the production of high performance components by means of standard injection moulding techniques.
TechnoPet is on of the only PET based polyester offering high crystallization speed. Furthermore its dimensional stability exceeds that of PBT by 20 °C. Due to its low water absorption components made of TechnoPet retain their properties and their dimensional stability,
hus making it an interesting alternative to die-cast metals and duroplastics in many demanding applications which require stiffness, small tolerances and surface quality.

thus making it an interesting alternative to die-cast metals and duroplastics in many demanding applications which require stiffness, small tolerances and surface quality.
Due to TechnoPet´s excellent flow complex and thinwalled cavities may be filled with lower pressure than would be the case with other plastics.
This is particulary important when producing parts with very small dimensions.

Attractive and Cost Effective
TechnoPet compounds offer these properties:

  • High stiffness
  • High thermal stability > 220 °C
  • Attractive surface
  • High dimensional stability

For these reasons they represent an extremely cost effective solution compared with other technical compounds.
